Summary
Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Chocolate/Confectionery professional to join our team as a Commercialization & R&D Integration Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Research and Development (R&D) initiatives and commercialization efforts, ensuring seamless integration to meet both customer and company objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead Commercialization Processes:
- Spearhead the commercialization processes, ensuring alignment with customer and company needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches and market adoption.
Support R&D Department Priorities:
- Prioritize and support R&D initiatives, ensuring that processes and data are comprehensive, accurate, and consistent.
- Work closely with R&D teams to streamline workflows and optimize research outputs.
Coordinate with Quality and Food Safety:
- Collaborate with the Quality and Food Safety Departments to validate and ensure the accuracy of information related to product development.
- Implement measures to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Project Updates and Alignment:
- Provide regular and transparent project updates to stakeholders, ensuring the organization is well-informed on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Foster communication channels to maintain alignment and agility in responding to evolving market demands.
Production Support and Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with Production teams to enhance processes, achieving improved yields and cost-efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction while maintaining or improving product quality.
Proactive Risk Management:
- Anticipate and mitigate potential process or product failures by working closely with Operations.
- Develop and implement preventive measures, process controls, and training programs to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Must have proven experience in commercialization, R&D integration, or related roles within the industry.
Prefer candidates with Chocolate or Confectionary Ingredient experience
• Must have strong project management and communication skills.
• Must have knowledge of quality standards, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Must have an analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
