Our client is one of the world’s leading multinational companies developing producing and selling natural, nutritional and high-quality dairy nutritional ingredients and other functional ingredients. They produce and market a broad range of high-quality, distinctive ingredients and semi–finished products based on whey, milk and other dairy components. These products are sold to food and beverage, sports nutrition; infant foods and pharmaceuticals manufacturers across the world. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experiencedR&D MANAGER – Protein Hydrolysates to lead their R&D team located in the Albany, NY area. The R&D MANAGER will develop and ensure the execution of the strategy and objectives for the R&D department for Hydrolysates (bio-technology) for Infant, Cell, Diagnostics, and Sports Nutrition. They will realize strategic projects and manage a group of highly qualified professionals, in line with the functional and R&D strategy, in order to ensure the realization of the departmental objectives and strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The R&D Manager will be directly responsible for the R&D Departments: Strategy, Year Plan/Budget, Innovation, Technology Transfer, Resource Management, Project Manager, Technical Expert, Organizational Development, People Management, Relationship Management and Knowledge and Competency Development.
